The Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System CP307 is a system that allows you to brew hot and cold coffee and teas. From making coffee brews such as the classic, rich, over ice, cold brew and a specialty. The different type of teas that can be brewed are herbal, black, oolong, white and green.
The Ninja has a smart basket recognition and notices if the basket for coffee (orange) or the basket for tea (green) is inserted. Whichever basket is placed in the system will display the type of drinks that can be brewed with that basket. These are shown below the dial for the size of drink you are looking to make (normal cup, XL Cup, 1/2 a carafe, a full carafe, etc.). When making the drink make sure the water reservoir is filled up enough to compensate for the size selected.
The Ninja System comes with a 50 oz. (10-Cup) Double-Walled Thermal Carafe. This makes your brewed drink keep its warmth or keep it cooled for an extended period of time (1-2 hours). On the opposite side of the water is a fold-in frother that you may want to use for a latte or on top of the coffee. Right next to the frother is the coffee scoop that helps to measure the amount of coffee or tea you want to brew.
No matter the type of drink you choose the Ninja puts out a very flavorful drink within 10-15 minutes. During this time there is a digital status bar that lets you know an estimated time (based on dashes) until your drink is complete.
This Ninja system also has a digital clock that coordinates with the feature of Delay Brewing. You can set your coffee to brew the same time your alarm goes off in the morning just in time to grab your cup before you head out for work.
What we liked:
- The combination of coffee and tea maker in one device along with it having the many different styles that can be brewed
- The Smart Basket Recognition for coffee and tea filter baskets
- The delayed brewing option
- The taste of the drinks are flavorful without any grinds or residue from the filtering
- Frother is a nice option to have when trying to imitate coffee made by a barista
What we disliked:
- The amount of time to create coffee and tea can be a little longer than your average coffee / tea brewer (but with less features)
- The sizes aren’t accurate to the sizes that get dispersed. Usually amounts to about half of the size (this could depend on type of cup).
- Water reservoir could be larger. Has to be filled after one carafe of coffee.

The drinks take a little longer than your average coffee and tea brewing systems, but comes with a powerful flavorful drink with no grinds or residue left in your drink. A big feature is the delayed brewing option that allows you to wake up to a freshly brewed drink. This system is a system that can definitely wake you up on the right side of the bed.

The Ninja CP307 is a system that will deliver a flavorful cup of Joe or tea. It gives you several choices to choose from and will automatically detect the type of filter basket inserted. The size of drinks can be selected and the dashed status light will give you an estimated of time to finish your drink. Although the time to finish the drinks can be a little longer than the average you are making up for that with a cup of your favorite drink with no grinds or other residue left in your drink.
Delayed brewing is a big feature that allows coffee or tea to be brewed while you are sleeping and can be what you wake up to. You aren't just paying for a coffee or tea brewer, it has both functions and that's why we see this as a great deal for anyone who enjoys brewed drinks.
